Taking place in the immediate aftermath of the failed world trade conference in Seattle, the World Economic Forum in Davos adopted the optimistic slogan «New Beginnings». However, the only new thing in Davos turned out to be the first appearance of Public Eye with a panel discussion that dragged a reluctant WEF into the media spotlight.
