Public Eye Awards 2005
«And the winner is...» In 2005, while just e few steps away the WEF was holding its opening session, the Berne Declaration and Pro Natura awarded the first “Public Eye Awards” for irresponsible corporate behavior. Nominees included more than 20 Swiss and foreign corporations, which had behaved irresponsibly with regard to human rights, workers rights, environment or taxes. The audience award, based on an online poll, went to the Nestlé Corporation.
